Scholarship Funds

Honor a legacy. Invest in a future

CREATE Foundation manages every detail so your scholarship keeps giving — year after year

Fund Types

Endowment vs. Pass-Through

CREATE Foundation offers two types of scholarship funds to suit your giving goals. The Endowment Fund grows in
perpetuity — ideal for creating a lasting legacy. The Pass-Through Fund offers maximum flexibility for donors who prefer to disburse funds on their own timeline.

SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND

  • Principal Use:
    • Permanently restricted. Grants limited to annual spendable amount (currently 4%)
  • Investment:
    • Placed in an investment pool and managed by a fund manager
  • Income Allocation:
    • Interest, dividends, and unrealized gain/loss allocated to the fund
  • Fees:
    • Annual administrative fee of 2% of the fund balance

SCHOLARSHIP PASS-THROUGH FUND

  • Principal Use:
    • Not permanently restricted. Up to 100% of the balance may be disbursed
  • Investment:
    • Fund balance is not invested in a pool
  • Income Allocation:
    • No interest or dividend income allocated to the fund
  • Fees:
    • Flat administrative fee of $150 charged annually
